Our hotel, which dates from the 12th century, was previously a boarding school and has been restored to its former splendour as an elegant residence in the heart of Lucca. Conveniently located in Lucca's monumental district, we are easily reached by way of the main highway exits and by local train transport; the bus station is a mere 2 minutes walk away. We provide a homely historic haven in amongst the ancient architecture. We recommend you start your day with our breakfast buffet of fresh local products. The original structure of the building has been refurbished to the highest of standards. The decor reflects the noble Lucchese style, with the use of antique wood floors in all the bedrooms, fine marble and other local stones in the bathrooms, lobby and common rooms. We offer our elegant and warmly decorated accommodation, designed in the grand style which befits the tranquil surroundings.
