Albergo Cappello
The hotel is situated in one of Ravenna?s most interesting buildings of the Renaissance period. Folklore suggests that it was the birthplace of the ill-fated mistress in Dante?s Divine Comedy Francesca da Polenta, wife of Gianciotto Malatesa. A perfect example of classical Venetian architecture, today the Cappello is the only hotel from the late 1800s still operating in Ravenna, and boasts superior rooms, some with beautiful frescoes, which allow modern day visitors to relive a special atmosphere. For business meetings, the hotel offers 2 rooms: Sala Marinara and Salotto Rosa. Both are equipped with all modern equipment and offer a refined atmosphere in the historical centre of Ravenna.
